Weekend favorites #50: The Academy Awards edition

Today I want to share with you some pictures of my favorite make up looks from this year's Academy Awards. Let's start!

Cate Blanchett and Jessica Chastain not only are two of my favorite actresses, but I also think they are two of the most elegant and charming women in the Hollywood system. They both choose a quite natural look, with nude lipsticks and a soft brown eyeliner. Jessica went for a slightly winged eyeliner, while Cate choose a smudge line. 

Sienna Miller ang Chloé Mortez, like Cate and Jessica, opted for a make up based on neutral colors, but they went a little more dramatic with a more intense make up for the eyes. Sienna's smokey eyes look is cool toned and paired with a black eyeliner, while Chloé's make up is more warm toned. I also love their glowing skin!

These two blonde bombshells rocked a more intense make up. Naomi Watts  went for a plum lipstick paired with long black eyelashes, while Margot Robbi choose a matte red lipstick and a soft brown eyeshadow that really made her blue eyes stand out. I also love her new hairstyle, I think it really suites her...but, honestly, she's so beautiful that she could have attended the red carpet in her pajama and she would have looked gorgeous anyway!

Emma Stone is the only redhead girl that can look amazing with an orange lipstick. Seriously, this girl never fails a look. The same can be said about Marion Cotillard, who, like Emma, choose a winged eyeliner, but she decided to pair it with a baby pink lipstick. Both their hairstyle were feminine and elegant. 

Lupita Nyong'o rocked a gorgeous luminous and glowing make up that looks perfect on her. Dewy complexion, metallic eyeshadow and shimmering lipstick. This girl is naturally beautiful but she definitely knows how to emphasize that beauty!

Weekend favorites #28 - Emmy edition

Like I did for the Oscar, this "weekend favorites" post is all about my favorite make up looks from the Emmy.

Gwen Stefani's make up is by far my favorite. I've alway had a girl crush on Gwen, I like her super glamorous rockstar style, her platinum blonde hair and and her bold red lips paired with black eyeliner. However, this time she rocked a completely different make up, with nude glossy lips, long black lashes and a light metallic eyeshadow. Sophisticated with a rock touch. Beautiful.

Ho sempre avuto un debole per Gwen, adoro il suo stile da rockstar glamour, i suoi meravigliosi capelli biondo platino e le labbra rosso fuoco abbinate all'eyeliner nero. Tuttavia, stavolta ha stravolto il suo look abituale a favore di labbra con gloss color nudo, lunghe ciglia nere e un ombretto metallico. Sofisticata con un tocco rock. Bellissima.

Natalie Dormer surely knows how to make her beautiful light blue eyes stand out. The brown smoky eyes look she chose really suites her and, paired with porcelain complexion and nude lips, her look was perfect. 

Di certo Natalie Dormer sa come far risaltare i suoi bellissimi occhi azzurri. Lo smoky eyes sui toni del marrone le dona moltissimo e, abbinato all'incarnato di porcellana e a labbra color nudo, è semplicemente perfetto.

Kerry Washington chose a smoky eyes look, too, but she preferred a shimmery navy blu color that looks amazing on her complexion. Perfect the choice of a nude lips. 

Anche Kerry Washington ha optato per lo smoky eyes, ma, stavolta, basato sui toni nel blu navy brillante, che dona particolarmente alla sua carnagione. Molto azzeccata la scelta di mantenere neutre le labbra.

Michelle Monaghan decided to wear a beautiful soft pink make up with a black eye pencil on the eyes. The soft wavy hear completes the sophisticated look.

Michelle Monaghan ha deciso di indossare un make up sui toni del rosa delicato, utilizzando la matita nera per enfatizzare lo sguardo. I capelli acconciati con morbide onde rendono il tutto estremamente sofisticato.

January Jones knew that with red lips and a black winged eyeliner she couldn't go wrong. She chose a lipstick with a worm orange undertone that looks gorgeous on her fair skin.
